Mazuwin Binti Haja Maideen, Adeline Asefack Dongmo

This paper identifies the most significant issues faced by women in the workplace in Cameroon and the effects of those issues on female employees’ performance. In an attempt to eliminate these issues in the workplace and to create a workplace where fairness and equality are reality, this journal suggests how HR professionals can effectively handle issues faced by women in the workplace, as well as some effective guidelines companies could follow in order to reduce/eliminate these issues. By addressing these issues, it will increase women participation and productivity in the workplace with an impact on the country overall economy.
